New Jersey Town Puts Residents At Risk … Exxon admittedly Contaminated Bill Post Sr’s property. The Brick Town NJ resident that is fighting the Exxon corporation. Because of the land contamination that was done to his property.. Well, it seems that due to his protesting to make them do the right thing. The town of Brick has done nothing in the past 3 years. The Exxon corporation even sent Bill paperwork. They admit the very high Benzene Levels .. But now they want him to take down his sign, or else they will fine him 1,000 dollars a day.
And even threatened him with Jail time.. But its Ok for Exxon to admit to the leak and the elevated levels, and now who knows how far the contamination has spread.. But a sign is the most of the Towns Worries ?? For all we know its in the water and the residents are drinking it as we speak..This is about a Hardworking Man who has done nothing wrong.. Who now has health issues..Who Cannot Sell His House So He can leave..But most of all not only is he taking a stand for himself. But making a stand that could affect many many many other people..The ones that are around him..
It doesn’t matter who you vote for when it comes to corruption and corporations its all the same evil, and now before you blame any president this happened under Obama and it fell under deaf ears.. This is now under the Trump administration. They forget or they just do not care about us at all.. This is what is happening in our country every day. In every state so much injustice if we don’t kill each other. The environment that is poisoned by the Corporations most certainly will .. When you thought Gov Phil Murphy was going to kill everybody by taxing them to death you were wrong..
When you are born and see all the adults your Dad and Mom other relatives. You want the same things they want, well not maybe everything but a house a place to call your castle . The car you always wanted and most likely a lot of other things. Then in school you are also taught that if you done unjustly to stick up for yourself like our forefathers did when establishing this country.
Ok now for the sake of argument you are done unjustly. And your fight tooth and nail to do it right. Go through all the proper channels. Then the individuals who did you wrong admit it.. Send you proof on what they did and you take that proof to the powers that be that are supposed to fight for you. Like we are told in school they will.. Then what happens next you have your day. Proof in hand and ready for some justice to be handed down.. Then nothing..
A bunch of legal mumbo jumbo and back and forth talking then before you know it.. You are walking out of the courtroom shaking your head like what in the hell just happened ? I will tell you what happened Big Oil has people and whole towns in their pockets and the good people like Mr Post get fucked and now the town is fucking with him well because they can.. Now this is not only Mr Posts Problem but the local residents as well.. Who knows what else is contaminated and were else it went ?

A state appellate court has ruled against environmentalists seeking to tear up New Jersey’s $225 million settlement with Exxon Mobil over industrial contamination of wetlands and waterways in north Jersey.
The three-judge panel on Monday said it found no fault in Superior Court Judge Michael Hogan’s decision to approve the consent agreement.
“Judge Hogan had the best opportunity to gauge the strength of the experts’ estimates regarding (natural resource damages), the relative strength of the parties’ litigation positions …,” Appellate Division Judge Carmen Messano wrote for the panel.
“We find no mistaken exercise of the judge’s discretion in finding the consent judgment was fair, reasonable, consistent with the Spill Act’s goals, and in the public interest.”
So this is not the First Time Exxon/Mobil has been in the Hot Seat Over This..
